Era of Embedded Journalism

News media serves as one of the main sources of information to our nation’s operations. As a result, the role of media in public opinion has become increasingly significant. Even further, the way our current events have become more engaged with live footage and opportunities for viewers to see what is happening from their homes, reporters have become more immersed in the stories they report on. Still, as the scope of media and journalism has expanded, the close relations of reporters have often bought into question how biased our news sources have become.

RTAmerica reports on the era of embedded journalism both at home and abroad, as new media has become increasingly invested in the political issues and how they are received.

Ultimately, as media continues to reach beyond the studio and onto the field, the opinion of reporters are becoming a considerable measure in public outlook. As this trend continues, viewers are required to diversify their sources in order to gain a fair perspective of our nation’s political involvement.
